Located to the east of Ibiza, Santa Eulalia has the only river in all the Pitusas islands. During your holidays in Santa Eulalia you will find beauty, quietness, sun and tradition.
Here you will find the world renowned beaches and coves, such as: Es Canar, Cala Llonga, Es Figueral beach, S'Aigua Blanca, Pou des Lleó, Cala Boix, Cala Mastella, Cala Nova, Cala Llenya, Cala Martina, S'Argamassa, Cala Pada, Es Niu Blau beach, Santa Eulalia beach, S'Estanyol beach and Es Caló de s'Alga.
The Santa Eulalia villa is made up of five parishes: Santa Eulalia, San Carlos de Peralta, Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera, Nuestra Señora de Jesús and Puig den Valls. Its first houses were built in the late XVIII century; the first urban nucleus was built close to the temple, at the top of the Puig de Missa, near Es Molins (the flour mills propelled by the water of the river were of vital importance until the XVIII century).
The Puig de Missa is the most important patrimonial and architectural ensemble in Santa Eulalia. It is named this way due to its fortified church built in the XVI century on the top of a 52 meter high hillock, where you can gaze over the river passing through its fertile region.
The parish of San Carlos, located in the most eastern area, has wonderful interior and coastal places, with its church standing high in the urban nucleus.
Santa Gertrudis, located between Ibiza and Santa Eulalia, is an interior village where visitors can enjoy shopping trips, enjoy its restaurants or visit the church. Within the church is contained the famous ancient bell with its wooden trout tail designed to achieve a perfect ringing balance.
